My experience:

Working on "Cutucadores" was a great challenge, especially when trying to create a stable and fun online experience in just 4 months. I used "Photon Fusion" in Unity 3D to build the game's online foundation. Creating consistent physics for all the actions in the game in an online environment, such as drills colliding and sliding, was a complex task due to the relatively complex netcode techniques. Moreover, the main focus of the game design was to ensure that the gameplay was fun and engaging, conveying the feeling of controlling a giant drill that crashes against others and picks up nitros to gain an almost uncontrollable energy.

It was great to have time to develop a game with simpler mechanics, which allowed me to learn and improve the game feel, both through VFX and a well develop game design. Unfortunately, at the moment, due to server costs, the game is unavailable to play, but in the future, with some investment, the plan is to release it on Steam.
